The now almost 80-year-old John Primer (USA) is still one of the few Chicago blues musicians from the 1960s still active enough to tour in Europe. In January 2025 he will make a short tour of the Netherlands and a performance in theater Calypso in Wijk bij Duurstede is also on the agenda. We are proud to host him then and invite you to come and see and hear him. He is accompanied by the more than fantastic Little Boogie Boy Bluesband (NL) led by Hein Meijer.

John Primer’s personal accolades, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, reflect his countless contributions to the history of Chicago blues.
