A long-cherished wish of De Veldpoort is to have a nice blues band in the house once. Because of Corona, this was not possible in 2020 and 2021. On October 15 it will happen with the Ragtime Rumours. Winners Dutch Blues Challenge 2017 and European champion 2018. Ticket sales starting in September.
BluesinWijk was founded in 2009, consists of a number of blues fans and organises about ten blues events every year in Calypso theatre, in pubs, on the river Lek, in private living rooms and on open-air stages. The slogan is: enjoying good blues in our own home town.
