On Saturday, October 25th, BluesinWijk and café Ome Ko will organize a fantastic Wijkse Blues walk with guide Martijn Pastoors. This walk is offered especially for the friends & sponsors of BluesinWijk. The walk will start at 7pm at café Ome Ko, there we will first eat soup and French bread with of course witches cheese on it. With torches in our hands we will walk into the city centre. Would you like to learn more about the rich history of Wijk in a fun, loose and special way? Then you should definitely come along… Special historical facts and trivia supplemented with real Wijk lore stories about secret medieval tunnels, hidden cemeteries, a real poisoner, Wijk witches etc etc… A beautiful experience by torchlight. After the walk, Dan Patlansky’s South African band will surprise us with a blues concert at Ome Ko. Start of the concert approx. 22.00 hrs. He is touring all over Western Europe to present his new cd. Highly recommended. Participation in the walk in combination with the concert is only for friends & sponsors for €15,-.
